My dad got this from his friend and he sold it to me. I was thinking of getting a Pentax 330GS as 2 of my friends are using 330RS. However after using CoolPix 3500 I really like it due to the facts that:

* Easy to use, I've never read the instruction booklet

*Battery lasts long, even when using flash lights.

*As someone has mentioned the camera could be twisted so you could take pics of yourself. Really interesting if you take it with your chick!

*Picture qualitys are good even at day time or night time.

*Nikon has its own reputation.

*Uses CompactFlash

*Mainly $3000 for this camera is really a bargain I reckon.

*Slightly a bit heavier.

*No Internal Memory, a bit dissapointed.

*Video does not have sound when recording but acceptable.

*Not really good at Snapshots, picture becomes a bit misty.
